SeaVee Boats - Catch More Fish

Dudes! Fish Orgy Alert!!!

Capt. John GiddyUp-Bunch
July 5, 2008
Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

There have been better times to fish in SW FL but right now is not bad. PLS allow me to explain my report title. I really have no other way to intellectually explain what is going on down here.

I have been taking my charters to the large schools of migrating glass minnows. Right there under all the millions of G-Minnows swim some might big HOMBRES. Big mangrove snapper, big grouper, bluefish, gator trout, snook, and tarpon in the 50-70 class. Oh, I forgot a Bull shark or 2.

So, how do you fish an orgy. Bait is still (virtually) impossible to find. My 2 choices have been an XL DOA and a White Bucktail. My charter customers have been dragging everything out of these feeding free for alls. Keeper mangroves and gag grouper have been the rule. Huge Trout in the 4-5LB class.

That's pretty much the scoop right now. I have been looking for Pompano to no avail. 3 Charters this week so I'll have further scoop by Friday. jb
