Orange Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

March is here and so is some nice warm weather. We are enjoying some sunny days here in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, Alabama. The bull redfish are still here but are isolated. It is taking some patience to locate these big bulls. The Spanish mackerel will hopefully arrive by mid or late March. These fish will be caught by trolling #2 spoons. If you can find a school then you can cast a Gotcha plug into the school and have some fun with light spinning tackle. Cobia (ling) will hopefully arrive by late March or early April. Offshore fishing is producing some vermillion snapper, triggerfish and amberjack. Spring Break is always a time for fun and fishing. Join us on the Getaway, our 36 Custom Hatteras or Another Getaway, our 46' Hatteras Sportfishing Yacht for all of the action. I am happy to provide this Orange Beach Fishing report for March 2011.

Target Species:

Bull redfish, Spanish mackerel, cobia, amberjack
