Gulf Shores fishing has been great with some great Gulf Shores family fishing, several 12 hour bottomfising trips offshore and trolling trips offshore the Alabama Gulf Coast. I enjoy them all. Unpredictable fishing ? Yes ! It seems that we never know what the next day will bring. One of our recent 12 hour trips produced red snapper, black snapper, vermillion snapper, white snapper, red grouper, gag grouper, scamp, mahi mahi (dolphin), king mackerel, spanish mackerel, wahoo, cobia and wahoo. Now that is variety. We did not have a quanity of anything but wow, what a variety. This does not happen everyday but we have been seeing a good variety of fish come aboard the Getaway on our 12 hour trips. Gulf Shores family fishing has been producing spanish mackerel, king mackerel and red snapper on our 4 and 6 hour trips. You do need a 6 hour trip to catch red snapper.
