Trolling Fort Lauderdale
As we all got our eyes on both Tropical storms Marco and Laura heading in the South Florida direction we were hopping to get in a couple more fishing trips before we had to start tying our boats up and battening down the hatches.
As it turned out today the seas were real calm and the sun was shining.
We started out this morning fishing with Ben and his wife Emily from South Carolina.
Since trolling had been paying for us all week we went right back to trolling and Yep trolling once again paid off with a bunch of bonitos 4 kingfish and a welcomed surprise a 5 or 6 pound Mahi- mahi Not to mention a barracuda that was having a bad day went it got bitten in half while we were reeling him in.
This afternoon we had a farther and son team with Greg and Adam from North Carolina.
And once again trolling of the coast of ft Lauderdale paid off with again a bunch of bonitos and once again a surprise with yet another great eating Mahi-Mahi.
