Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report
I'm scheduled to run tomorrow. My plan is to drag +25 Ft Lures (MirrOLures) in 30Ft of water using 30LB Power Pro (which puts this lure approximately 2-3 Ft from the bottom. What color? It all depends on the water clarity. What speed? Depends on down current or cross current. (I don't believe in dragging lures in the opposite direction of how the grouper are set up on the bottom.
It is a TOTAL GAS to see and feel the Big Boys blast a lure. Plus you pick up other stuff like Cobia and Kingfish.
If you ever see me fishing straight up and down on the bottom, please load you gun, motor over to my boat, and shoot me. Per this offer, please make sure it is me. In other words, positive ID me before firing. I LOATHE fishing on the bottom.
I'll out fish anyone 7 days from Friday by dragging MirrOlure Deep Divers. If Budweiser is the King of Beers then MirroLure Deep Divers are the King of Lures. Oh by the way, I am NOT on their Pro Staff but wish I were.
