Hey Captain GiddyUp! I'm 6 weeks LATE!

Capt. John GiddyUp-Bunch
June 24, 2011
Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

So, I'm in my bed sleeping soundly and BOOM! Like the freakin' Space Shuttle that flies over SW FL and lands on the East Coast I'm awaken by the REPORT TITLE ABOBE. HAS ANYONE EVER TOLD YOU about being 6 weeks late?

Relax boys. It was the TARPON TALKING TO ME as I slept semi-soundly. 2011 has been crazy. My fave day for Tarpon Fishing is April 21st and I have TV Fishing Shows to prove it.

This year? Try June 21st in SW FL. I'm not sure who is messing with the Fishing MOJO around SW FL but all of my LOVERS are LATE!!!!
6-8 weeks late. Ain't right late. Tomorrow, Sunday, and Monday I'll be chasing tarpon on GUFC (GiddyUp Fishing Charters). I promise a full report before or just after the 4th of July.

On June 11th, 2011 I forfeited all claims to being THE GREATEST BACHELOR of all time (I'm shocked there was not a national day of mourning) . I'm focused on the task at hand tomorrow but I can't wait to see my BALL AND CHAIN come the 4th of July.

Tomorrow will be an awesome day. The Tarpon are late, lonely, and hungry. YOU TELL ME WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT PICTURE.

Fort Myers Fishing Forecast:

Tarpon! I don't shoot Doves on a telephone wire or catch SNOOK when they need to be left alone. SAVE OUR SNOOK! Catch and Release snook is just wrong. If you HAVE TO CATCH SNOOK, prove your skills with Yo-Zuri lures. What does live bait prove?

Target Species:

Tarpon/Grouper/Cobia
