Trout season opens Saturday Tampa Bay - Thursday morning was sluggish as the tide was non existent. For 90 minutes the water was slack as was the action for Captain Steven. No tide combined with 52 degree water has thrown Tampa Bay anglers a curve.

Winter Sharks and trout - Saturday morning we were greeted with slick calm water and a steady light to moderate rain. It's days like this I love the top of my T Tower and vinyl windshield and side curtains. Huddled behind the counsel staying dry and warm was a pleasure.

The shrimp fishing has started in Tampa Bay! - The water temperature has stayed above 70 degrees so far this winter, and the fish love it.
