They’re still here-Redfish

Postby Current Adventure Charter » Mon Mar 06, 2006 9:39 pm

Friday was a tough day with a strong cold front blowing through Thursday night, it blew like heck on Friday and I caught nada, nothing, zilch, zero!!! Yeah, I said it, I got skunked. Just goes to show that you can't always catch em', but at least I'll admit it.

Saturday was a little different. High pressure built in, the winds laid down, and a few fish decided to bite. Fished with Don and Rock Saturday. It was Rock's birthday, and from what I gathered from conversation, he usually catches all the fish, but today was Don's day. I took them to one of my favorite spots and gave them a couple of rods with bucktail jigs and a gulp trailer. Once the water started dropping, the fish went to feeding, following the same pattern they have been in for months now.

Don ended up with three fish (including on 5 pounder), I caught one and well Rock, better luck next time. Spring is just around the corner. Change you line, grease your reels and go catch some fish!!!!
