BIG FISH

Today we went after big fish and big fish only!!! We were fishing with Doug Jones, Wirt Cook, Steve McIntire, and Eric McIntire from Parkersburg,WV. Kris Warne from Georgetown,KY. and Drew McIntire from Lexington,KY.

We started off with AJ's and we found plenty of them, but they didn't realize they were supposed to bite. We did hook up a few, but they managed to pull the hooks and swim free.

However, we did get a real nice Cobia around 40 pounds. That's not a bad trade for a Jack that I'll take any day!!!

I kept moving offshore until we finally hit a spot that we usually have good luck with the AJ's at and today they bit here as well.

But, again they pulled the hooks. And again, we had a very nice trade off with a big African Pompano. And again, a good swap in anybody's book!!!

And of course, we got our limit of Atlantic Sharp nose. No, we didn't get a big AJ to the boat today, but we had several chances but were reminded again as to why it's called fishin' and not catchin', as far as the AJ's go anyway!!

But Cobia and African Pompano sure take the sting out of all the hooks pulling free on the Jacks!!!

The seas were flat calm and the comraderey on the boat today was second to none. What more could you ask for?

Two 1/2 days on the beach tomorrow. Haven't fished close in in several days, so check back tomorrow night and see if we put the puzzle together!!!

Till next time, Thanks for stopping by and may God Bless Everyone!!!!

Fish On!!!!
