Breaking News!!

Captain Steven of the Viking Fleet is organizing a very special Georges Banks / Stellewagon extended trip on April 14th departing Montauk, NY at 7.30pm and returning at 2am on April 16th.

100% of the fares collected will be donated to The United Boatmen; who have filed a lawsuit against the National Marine Fisheries to protest against the extreme restrictions we are faced with. This lawsuit is being filed for all of us fishermen to preserve our right to fish and to protest against more and more unfair and unnecessary regulations.

Remember... all of the trip proceeds are being donated to The United Boatmen. To add a little extra excitement and raise extra money for our donation to The United Boatmen, Captain Steven will be holding a raffle on board for various prizes including a $250.00 gift certificate towards any of our offshore trips. Viking Fleet will be gifting a special tee-shirt for everyone onboard - you can buy one for a friend for $20. We also have a Shimano TLD 25 reel donated by our friend Kenny at Tightlines Tackle SHOP IN Sag Harbor. Mr. Vin Roppelt stopped by the Viking office and donated a Newell graphite reel for the raffle. This beautiful reel is to be attached to an awesome custom fishing rod donated by Captain Neil (Custom Fishing Rods, by Captain Neil) from Sayville NY, and will be raffled as one item. Good luck to all!!!.

If any one would like to donate a prize to the raffle please call the Viking office at 668-5700 or stop by. It is time to stand together. Remember, UNITED WE FISH, DIVIDED WE DON’T!!!

MORE INFORMATION REGARDING THIS LAWSUIT IS AVAILABLE AT WWW.VIKINGFLEET.COM; FOLLOW THE LINK TO "Wake Up Fisherman!" Capt. Paul Forsberg is in the forefront of this fight & will do everything he can to be sure that our right to fish is not stripped before our very eyes.
