Tuesday March 22 - Captain Dave reports that everyone on the boat went home with fish. We had steady action all day long with many many throwbacks. Robert Anderson had 2 keepers for himself and took the pool with a 20 pound cod. Michael Rittenhouse of Port Jefferson had a 12 pound cod for second place in the pool.

Local Cod Monday March 21 - Captain Dave reports great action for the day - we had a small crowd with several hundred keepers. First place in the pool was Kai Cheng of Belmore with a 12.8 pounder and Artie Handel of East Rockaway came second. The boys from Sheepshead Bay had 12 keepers and plenty of short throwback.

Local Cod Sunday March 20- Captain Steven reports: The day started well and stayed well with slow periods every once in awhile, however, the whole day the action was there. Between 800 and 900 cod came over the rail of the boat. At the end of the day the tally was- 336 keeper cod stayed on the right side of the rail and went into the coolers and all the shorts under 23" went back over the rail in the water. We had the Jaramillo family of 5- 2 adults and 3 juniors- who are novices in cod fishing. They had a great time ending up with 35 keepers up to 16lbs! The highlight was Joseph Scotto of Staten Island with his TRUE VIKING COD of 45.6lbs!! Second prize pool went to Ed Rosario of Shirley with his 25.4lbs pool!
