FIRE ISLAND NY MAY 30
Posted: Tue May 31, 2005 11:32 am We took out the Ray Goren party for a full day Charter. WE had great weather with light winds. We ran out to the inlet and found birds working the rip. We jigged up 30 blues and released many more in the 2-8 lb. range. This action lasted over 2 hours! We then ran to the Soar Thumb area to try for some Flounder. We fished the last of the ebb and beginning of the flood. We had 5 flounder several porgys which were released and some nice Blowfish. We had several skates attack our worms and clams. We moved to the Robert Moses Br. and chummed up 4 teen size Stripers and had skates and sea robins pestering us. They had a good trip!
