The Columbia River tributaries are experiencing a record run of steelhead this summer, over 3/4 of a million steelhead expected over Bonnaville dam by summers end, latest tally was nearly 710,000 wild and hatchery steelhead. A huge portion of those are headed for the upper tributaries, these steelhead are of the famed free risers often attacking waked dries or grease lined wet's. This season will be one of historic value as run's like this only come about a few times in a fishermans life. I am looking forward to a great season of guiding on the Methow, Wenatchee and Klickitat rivers three of the historically great rivers in the Columbia river system. Our season will run form early October to freeze out in Decemmber, we have a dates open in October and November with December being available with mild weather only.
