Fishing report - Sebastian Area (Inshore)

Postby bielefeld » Tue Apr 22, 2003 5:48 pm

Hey, Capt. Ron here. The fishing has been pretty good very early in the morning for trout. A few of the trout have been in the 5-8 lb range. A few big snook showing themselves as well. These fish have been feeding during the bright moon over the shallow flats. Top-water plugs have been very effective. Redfish have been scattered over some the shallow flats later in the mornings. These fish have been taking small weedless Riptide shrimp worked through the grass. Mid-afternoon trout have been hanging around the spoil islands. Jigs have been the ticket for these fish. Blue fish have been in the Inlet lately if you want to deal with all the traffic and sometimes wavy condtions. Any questions or want to add some of your information, just contact me or add a post. Tight-Lines to all. 8)
