Trout Bite

Postby hookout » Mon Jul 16, 2007 3:56 pm

You fellas have some nice trout down here. I come to visit some relatives from time to time and try to explore some of the inshore waters. I fish Charleston SC, have for years and the the fishing is very good. However, I've caught 7 trout in four trips 5lb+ around Jacksonville. Thats something I have never done in Charleston. Being that I am simply exploring, i like to use the trolling motor and throw plugs - prospecting a bit. I cast a silver and black minnow series "Bite A Bait" lure (floating) and its game on - reds, jacks, typical size trout and the 7 big trout mentioned above. I do hope to visit my new favorite relatives more often.
