Central Florida in Febuary

Postby Triedtied » Sat Jan 07, 2006 1:06 am

I'm new here so be be patient. I made my first trip to Ocala this past thanksgiving and fished Rodman with some sucess and the Oclawhaha with none. I'm thinking that spawn should be close in late febuary and want to give it another shot. Can someone give me thier thoughts on what would be the best bet for good fish? Last time was my first try with shiners (tho finding them was hard at times) and plan on useing them this time around. Rodman? Lake George? The St. Johns?. I'd like to stay in the central Fl. area and I'll have 4 or 5 days to fish. Any help or advice would be appreciated folks!

Of the three that you mentioned, George would be probably your best bet.

Extended warm front coming should be great fishing for a week or more in most places here.
