Lake Erie Walleye fishing heating up

Postby eriequest » Sun Apr 02, 2006 5:32 pm

Jigging for Lake Erie Walleye is starting to heat up on the Lake Erie Reef Complex. "Limits" of Walleye are being caught, with some really nice big fish taken around Cone Reef, Locust Reef, Crib Reef, and also near Crane Creek. Jig colors producing, include: blue, green, purple, plain...tipped with minnows.

Low-n-slow presentations work best.

Many fish are from the 2003 class, although I've seen fish over 10 pounds.
Tight lines... :)
