Salmon river New York Steelhead
Posted: Fri Jan 02, 2009 4:34 pmThe steelhead fishing right now couldn't be better. Over the past few days the water has come down and we are catchin alot of steelies. I have been using alot of blue egg sacs and glow roe trout beads. I am fishing from my drift boat which allows me the option to cover alot of water.
Altmar to Pineville has been good but the sportsman hole has been holding some huge fish.
I have been using spinning gear and floats. Pluggin has been good using rapalas and hot shots.
Berkley pink power worms are catching alot of fish as well
We have open dates for January gives us a call.
