2008 Miami International Boat Show & Strictly Sail

WHAT:

The Miami International Boat Show & Strictly Sail is one of the world’s largest consumer marine exhibitions. The five-day event brings together the latest powerboats, engines, sailboats, electronics and marine accessories from more than 2,200 exhibitors.

WHEN:

Thursday, Feb. 14, through Monday, Feb. 18, 2008
Thursday, Feb. 14, (Premiere Thursday) 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 15-Sunday, Feb. 17, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
Monday, Feb. 18, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

In-water displays of powerboats at the Sea Isle Marina & Yachting Center and sailboats and sailing accessories at Miamarina at Bayside 10 a.m. through 6 p.m. daily

ADMISSION:

Miami Beach Convention Center and Miamarina at Bayside:
$16 for adults, Feb. 15 through 18
Free for children under 12
$6 for children ages 13-15
$30 for an adult two-day pass, valid any two days Feb. 15-18
$30 for Premier Thursday on Feb. 14

Elite Fleet Club tickets, which provide admission to a private VIP area at the Convention Center, two complimentary drinks, hors d’ouevres and more.

$50 for a one-day pass, valid Feb. 15-18
$60 for a one-day pass, including Premier Thursday, Feb. 14
$85 for a two-day pass, valid Feb. 15-18

Sea Isle Marina &Yachting Center:

Free

E-tickets for the Miami International Boat Show & Strictly Sail will be available after Dec. 15, 2007, at www.miamiboatshow.com or www.strictlysail.com. E-tickets are redeemable Feb. 14-18 at special E-ticket-only entrances of the show.

TRANSPORTATION:

Electrowave and free air-conditioned shuttle-bus service connect the show locations with more than 15,000 parking spaces, including a park-and-ride facility at the American Airlines Arena, where visitors can park for $10 per day. Shuttle buses run continuously from one hour prior to the show’s opening until one hour after the show’s closing.

At the Miami Beach Convention Center, buses drop off passengers at the main entrance on Washington Avenue and pick up passengers at the west side of the outdoor patio on Meridian Avenue.

At the Sea Isle Marina & Yachting Center, the passenger drop-off and pick-up station is located at the main entrance by the Marriott on North Bayshore Drive.

At Miamarina at Bayside, shuttle buses pick up and drop off passengers at the show entrance located on the water’s edge in front of the Hard Rock Café.
