Fishing line
Posted: Tue Jun 13, 2006 11:20 pmI've always put new fishing line on my reels every year. Just wondering if it's really necessary with the new line thats out today. I mainly bass fish using 8 lb line.

I change mine much more often, it's handy to have a extra spool already made up with a different class of line just in case. i grouper and snapper fish, i change my line more often because of toothy critters and snagups on reefs and wrecks. Just make sure that guides on your rods are in good condition and you sould be good for a while!!
