Berkley's New Fireline XDS
Posted: Tue Jun 10, 2003 9:55 pmBerkley has come out with a new line called Fireline XDS. Fireline XDS is eXtra Durable and Smooth. This line is the latest version of the original Fireline which will still be available in the smaller sizes. XDS was also especially made for saltwater and baitcasting reels. I think they will start at 50lb which has a diameter of 12lb test. I currently have the 65lb diameter which is 17lb diameter. It also has a rounder profile to resist digging in the reel spool.
