We used to catcha lot of red fish where I grew up in Port Arthur, Texas. Man those suckers got big. Has anyone here done much red fishin'? If so, how big can those guys get? They were pretty massive where I grew up!

Btw, nice to meet you all. :) The board looks great!

Captain Shaw Foster out of Titusville guides for RedFish and has caught many Reds over 20 pounds with a few coming in over 40 pounds. AWESOME fish to catch, even better when you can release them alive for another day :lol:

its pointless to eat them when they become that big, meat isnt good, well what i heard from a friend..

You are correct MangroveFisherman. I wouldn't keep one If I could. Plus the fine is 1,000 dollars per fish here in SC.

These are the spawner's,,,,,,,It takes big ones to make little ones!
