Weekend Report

Postby Maverick » Mon Apr 14, 2003 9:37 pm

I took my son out this weekend for a little inshore fishing. We started out at the range marker at Gov't Cut and hit some mackeral up to 5 lbs. Then headed off to the finger channles for a little "gentle jigging". At the channels we caught ladyfish, jacks, sharks, and others. had a great day!

Made another trip out today after the terrible weather Sat. got good bait at the cut and headed out to the cuban hole. Had a couple hits but no hook ups and decided to go south. Found a nice color change and fished it for a coule hours. Got 2 kings to 15 lbs. a small mutton and some macks at the range marker. Headed to the finger channels when I saw the rain coming. Made acouple drifts for some nice ladyfish and one spinner shark that thought he was a marlin the way he was greyhounding and spinning. AWESOME! Good day and didn't even get rained on!
