It has been a long while since i last visited and posted on the fórum but it feels good to be back!
Saturday i had the pleasure of fishing with David äka Sonny whom is a retired Met Master Angler.
It had been more close to two years since we last went fishing together! On our way out we stopped in a patch reef in 11 ft of wáter out of Broad pass and began chuming for balyhoo, within a few minutes we would catch balyhoo and noticed son they were followed by cero Mackeral.
With some long shank hooks two managed their way into the ice box. Undersized and out of season, 2 black grouper and 1 red grouper joined for the fun. when suddenly sonny cast the bait back and sees a mutton eat the balyhoo at the surface! Fish on! 9 lb mutton snapper landed! Great day!
