Grouper trolling consist of trolling lipped plugs along the reef for some Grouper! The occasional Mutton Snapper can also be caught using this technique. Manns strech 30+ and 25+ work well. Rapalas diving plu;gs are another sure thing. Three Plugs is all you will need, putting them all at different distances from the stern , say 75' 100' and 125'. You can play with this according to your setup. Once the cooler waters/months are here the fish will move to shallow reefs. Same goes for the wrecks. Dont be surprised if you catch a King, a Gag , a Red or Black Grouper and even the Mutton while doing this technique! Let me know how it goes!
