Costa Rica Report

Postby thums up » Wed Feb 06, 2008 2:06 pm

Last week during the week, we had some great fishing again. Catch totals for sails were in the teens with in the 20's beening raised. Plenty of big dolphin and tuna mixed in. Over the weekend the fishing slowed some. Fri., we had the Evan McDermitt crew out from the Mass. Maritime Acc., They went 2-3 on sails, 6 yellowfin and 2 dolphin to 50lbs. Sat.s crew Gene Dalpara from Illionis, went 2-6 on sails and getting some dolphin action up to 30lbs. Sun. crew from the Mass. Maritime Acc. mananged to go 2-5 on sails and some really nice dolphin fishing only 5 miles out! There have been still some good marlin fishing around farther out and some tuna up 250lbs have been landed. We expect that after this new moon the fishing should pick up again. I will post some picks once I get them for our crew!

We still have some dates for March and the end of April open if anyone is interested.
