Just wanted to know if anyone had ever gond to the Dry Tortugas on the Yankee Cap't? I am going next week and wanted to know how I should pack? Any special bait? getting a box of goggs, but any secret weapons?
Im taking a shimano baitrunner 6500 and a 6/0 penn as reels?
anything else? Length of leader? hooks? etc etc.. want to fill the cooler you know!

I haven't been on one of those long range boats, but from talking to people who have, fresh (not frozen) goggle eyes for bottom fishing seem to be the ticket. As far as tackle your 6/0 Penns should be fine.
