8)We fished Monday, 10 miles off Naples with the Bruce Demoranville party. We caught keeper mangrove snapper to 15 inches, and keeper triggerfish, porkfish & grunts. We released gag grouper shorts and blue runners. We used one blue runner as bait to catch and release a 60 pound goliath grouper, which was quite a thrill for all.

Fishing central Estero Bay Tuesday with Bill White and son, Eric, we caught two redfish, one at 20 inches and one at 27 inches, which is maximum size for a keeper. We also caught and released mangrove snapper, ladyfish and a porcupine puffer.

Wednesday, the Bob Johnson party fished with us 18 miles out New Pass. We caught king mackerel to 30 inches, mangrove snapper to 18 inches, ten keeper lane snapper, a keeper hogfish, grunts and porkfish, and released lots of grouper shorts.

We fished the bay Thursday with the Fred Marunde party, and caught a keeper redfish, keeper mangrove snapper, and released small jacks, puffers, and a 35 pound stingray. It was windy in the bay Friday, when we fished with Bill & Kevin Kamet, catching and releasing mangrove snapper at the islands toward Wiggins Pass. A stormy Saturday kept us in port.
