What kind of fish is this???

Caught and released this guy in abour 40 feet of water off of gasparilla pass.

The streamers on it where quite long and seemed to flouresce when I put him back in the water.

Hey Ray,

That looks like a baby African Pompano. Below are a couple photos of African caught on my boat. The smaller one still has some of the streamers if you closely - it was caught in the Bahamas (my son Rudy is the angler). The larger one has lost all it's streamers and was caught off Miami Beach (my friend Nick is the angler). As you can see these fish grow quite large...
