Chumming for Baitfish - Caloosahatchee River

Postby Okarrski » Fri Jul 11, 2014 2:48 pm

Was hoping to get a few tips for chumming up pilchards, pinfish etc in the Caloosahatchee River. Do all grass flats hold these fish? I'm headed out in a few weeks, end of July. Throwing a cast net is the plan, just wondering where to go and if it needs to be 5am to actually fill the live well.

Also, any tips for throwing the castnet off Ft Myers beach?

Thanks!
