Fishing report for 9-18-04

Postby Salt4Life » Tue Sep 21, 2004 11:11 pm

A little late, but better than never.

Went out to some near shore reefs around 5 miles out. Water is in pretty bad condition from all the run off we have had from the hurricanes. Action was really slow but we were able to pick up a good size bluefish and also got into a couple of the spawning bull reds. The bluefish hit cut squid, while the reds hit cut shad. Besides that, not much else was happening. Hopefully the hurricanes will let up and allow some better conditions, redfish look to be the best bet until then.
