Fishing off Anclote gulf park

Could anyone let me know what the fishing is like down near New Port Richie.

Coming over for a holiday in a few weeks and heard fishin was good near trouble creek and Anclote park by boat? does anyone know this area.

And has anyone on this site fished from the Anclote gulf fishing pier,would love to hear what its like.

you can wade in front of fred howard park and catch some trout , refish and snook.
use artie's like loves lures or live greenbacks.

Well if you go to the fishing pier at the north end. Make sure it is high tide, or you will the only thing you will catch is the elusive rockfish that is hell on tackle. Winter is best near the power plant end because the water is warmer.
