The inshore scene is starting to pick up with numerous Trout, Redfish and the occasional Cobia making a show in the grassflats inside the bay.
Last Saturday, we caught all the Trout we weanted on select shrimp, with a few nice redfish thrown in for good measure.

Scouting a few of the ‘cans’ that line the shipping channel, we found 2 Cobia that wanted to go home with us; both measured 37 and 38 inches, respectively.

It’s time to start tying the Kingfish rigs as scattered reports are coming in daily.
I will be taking a trio out for some Kings next Friday—so look for a fresh report then.

On the Grouper front, the dropping water temps have the Gags on the move. Seventy feet is the magic number now, in the coming weeks tey will settle within a few miles of the beach.

Good Fishin’ to ya!
