This past week has been a great week to fish, both inshore and offshore!
Inshore, Trout and Redfish are prowling the flats feeding on small glass minnows. They are easily enticed into taking a greenback and select shrimp on the incoming and outgoing tides. Tarpon will be very active this weekend, with the full moon upon us, look for the Silverkings to be stacked up along the shipping channel looking for a crab passing by.

Offshore, the Grouper bite is good in 90 feet, but the Blacktip Sharks have been running off the biggest fish. We caught and released 8 last Sunday morning.
If it’s a big tug you’re after, look no further than the area reefs for Goliath Grouper. These fish are federally protected, so if you get one to the boat, please release it immediately.
My clients on Monday were nearly pulled out of the boat two times just trying to catch one!

Tight Lines!
