5-24-07 Redfish action continues so does the wind

Postby Capt Marty » Mon May 28, 2007 5:50 pm

Today I helped out Capt Bill with a group from Patterson Rental Tools. Day one with Rene Gauthier, Carl Hanks, and Larry Flak was another success despite the worst conditions possible to fish in. It was WINDY all day long (thanks Boone). The wind blew stronger today than any other day I have fished in my life (no joke). Anyway, we still hooked up with 20 - 25 reds, which 10 made the box. We had another 5 keeper reds that spit the hook close to the boat. We called it a day at 12:00 with 10 reds and 1 big sheephead. Looking forward to day 2 tomorrow and wiil be praying for less wind.
