5-25-07 Tough Dularge Fishing

Postby Capt Marty » Mon May 28, 2007 5:51 pm

Day 2 with Patterson Rental Tool Group was a tough windy day. Rene Gauthier, Carl Hanks, and Larry Flak joined me again today for some tough fishing conditions. We hit the marsh hard and started the day off quick hooking up with 6 reds fast, but the wind picked up quick. We only hooked 6 more reds the rest of the day. Headed out to the pass to soak some crabs, after moving around about 4 times we were finally hooked up. First bull drum to hit the deck went 34 pounds. After a couple break offs and puppy drum it was time to head back to the dock. Final tally in the box today was 6 reds, 1 trout, and 1 bull drum. Hopeing for less wind in the morning, and to find some trout.
