Yellowmouth's are on FIRE Down Dularge

Postby Capt Marty » Thu Jul 19, 2007 8:20 pm

helped out Capt. Bill today for one awesome day of trout bashing. Onboard the big Blazer for the big time trout slam was Joey Dufour, Alex Dufour, Philip Rabalais, and Steven Voiselle. All it took this morning was 2 stops. Only put the anchor down once and by 8:40Am it was all over, 125 trout were on ice. The guys had trout coming in the boat 2 at a time on tandem rigged bayou chubs every cast. Green, purple, 3in or 4in it did not matter, the trout were not picky at all. Plastic is all you need, leave that LIVE stuff at the dock :D :D These guys kept saying they have never caught so many fish, so fast in their lives. They just could not believe how awesome it was!!! Lots of 1 1/2# - 2# fish caught, nothing 3# or better today. The weather cooperated and the seas did too, we could not have asked for a better day today. It was a pleasure as always helping Capt Bill and putting my crew on one heck of a awesome Trout SLAM 8-).

Thanks,
