Steve and Bob Whitehead from Indiana and Chris Gillespie from North Carolina joined me today Down Dularge!!! These guys had a blast today catching Trout, Reds, and Flounder. First cast of the day before sunrise produced a nice trout, I knew it would be a good day. We boxed 40 nice trout at our first stop with only 4 throwbacks. We left the trout biting to go do some scouting, the guys are fishing the next two days by them self so they wanted to learn the area. Reds were on the agenda at our second stop, we hooked up with 15 reds but only put 10 in the boat. Three nice flounder took the LSU Chub but only 2 made it to the net!! We made a bunch of more moves scouting areas that are usually productive, but only hooked up with a couple more fish. Everything today was caught tight-lining the infamous LSU Chubs. No live bait needed!! I had a great time with you guys, thanks.
