Last night we had Don Oliver and his group come in from Georgia for a couple of days of fishing. The guys got up this morning, walked across the street to where Capt. Jason was waiting. They stopped at Campo's Mariner to say good morning and pick up some bait.
They then headed to the Biloxi Marsh because the guys wanted to catch some reds. At every stop they put reds into the boat. At one stop they got onto a good trout bite, putting 30 trout into the boat. But, that wasn't what they wanted, so Jason moved to another spot.
The day ended with:
25 reds 3 -10 lbs
30 trout 12 - 14"
1 BIG flounder
1 drum
3 sheepshead
The guys can't wait to get up again tomorrow to another great day of fishing, they said that they had a blast. All fish were caught using Campo's live shrimp 2' under a popping cork.
