David Burgin and crew joined me this morning to get in on all the great action they have been hearing about!! We left the dock dark and early and made it to our first stop before the sun cracked the sky. No wind to speak of, and plenty of Nat's!!!! When it started to get light you could see and hear the trout smacking shrimp on the water. It was not long before the first trout slimmed up the new Ice chest. Everyone in the boat was hooked up and the trout were actively eating up the LSU chubs as usual. The bite slowed down as fast as it sped up, so it was time to move. We made several moves picking up trout at most locations, but I could not find a good concentration of fish to bite fast and furious. David had to be back in Lafayette for 1200pm, so we fished till 900am and called it a day. The guys had a great time and ended the day with a nice box of trout. Another Great trip in the log book and happy fisherman. Thanks to Capt. Bill Lake for setting up the trip

Don't be left behind wishin you were fishing, give me a call to set up your next trip
