Sunday Morning Trout 11-11-07

Postby Capt Marty » Mon Nov 12, 2007 11:05 am

Richie Daigle and his son Mason joined me for a quick morning trip to Dularge. Made it out to our first stop and found the tide falling hard and the trout busting shrimp on top the water. We only picked up a couple trout so we made a short move and found birds picking up shrimp everywhere. Started putting a few fish in the box but it was still a slow bite. Made two more moves picking at the trout, then made a move South and found a big school of trout feeding on shrimp. The shrimp were jumping so far out the water that they were almost coming in the boat. Needless to say the fish were coming in on everycast until we ran out of time and had to head in at 8:45. Mason had to be in New Orleans for 12:00 for a soccer game. All in all, it was another successful day fishing. The guys ended the short trip with a nice mess of fish (the most fish Mason has every caught).

The fishing is on fire right now, don't miss out. Give me a call to book your next trip
