Good Day Trout Catching 5-25-08

Postby Capt Marty » Wed May 28, 2008 4:24 am

Todd Nunez, Larry Randall, and Dave Feeman joined me today for a great day of trout catching. It was a really nice day today and my crew had a blast reeling in the yellowmouths. Sure was nice to finally be able to get back on the trout again. The water was murky, but that did not stop the yellowmouths from eating up our live shrimp. YES, I said it!!!! Today was one of those few times that I can say "I'm glad we had the live stuff today". 15-20 of our fish fell victim to plastics and all the rest hit the live shrimp carolina rigged. The guys caught fish till the livewell was empty. Great mess of fish, as the 120 qt was almost full. Really nice quality fish today. Can't wait for tomorrow!!!!! Thanks to Capt. Bill Lake for setting up the trip.
