Capt. Jason and Capt. Lester had the gang from Griner Drilling Service. Capt. Jason was the first boat to finish their limit this morning. For 7 o'clock they had 125 speckled trout. He gave Capt. Lester a call to the area where the fish were. Then, Capt. Lester got onto a good bite and finished their limit of 100 speckled trout in the 12" - 3 lb. range.

Capt. Lester gave me a call today to say he was finishing up and to let me know which area he was fishing in. He also said that the trout were so hungry that they were hitting a bare hook. As they were reeling in one fish, another fish was hitting the cork being pulled in. Capt. Lester didn't have to tell me twice, I told him I was on my way.

Today I had the pleasure of fishing with Ray Brandt, his grandson Zachary Hartlein, Joey Hogh, Todd Dempster, and Capt. Robin Pati. It turned out to be a great move. We finished up by catching our 145 speckled trout in the 12" - 3 lbs. range. The guys were using their rods as if they were fishing with cane poles, and pulling trout into the boat. You had to see it to believe it!!!! The trout were biting like crazy.

So guys, if you want a piece of this kind of action, this is the time to fish. All fish were caught in the Breton Sound and Bay Eloi area 2' under a popping cork. We were using Campo's live shrimp, croakers and just a bare hook today.Check out the great dock shots.
