The guys only kept 25 fish and released all others to fight again
No better way to end the year than bustin up the yellow-mouths. Blake and Cory Miller from Oklahoma City joined me today for the great action this morning. Our first stop is where we put the hurt on them. We had the yellow-mouths coming in the boat 1-2 at a time with our tandem rigged LSU chubs and avocado beetles after catching approx 60 fish (12-16 inches), we left them biting to try for some reds. The reds were a little more elusive today as we only caught 3 reds all day. We decided to go fish for trout in a few other locations and we found them. 17-20 inch trout. These fish were hungry for our tsunami swim baits slow on the bottom. These guys usually strictly catch and release, but today they decided to keep 25 for a fish fry. Final tally was approx 80 trout and 3 reds. Another great day with exceptional company. Thanks guys, I really enjoyed fishing with you.
