What salinity levels can you expect to catch trout and reds in back bays and bayou inlets when bait is prevelant? Obviously the levels are rock bottom right now.

Hmmm

I have been on boards like this before, and I always thought others responded to the thread topics and questions. Does this not happen here?

Jimbojump,

The purpose of the board IS for discussion... Unfortunately, there is relatively few number of people willing to "participate". But, this can change with a few dedicated users like yourself. In order form this board to grow into a "community", it's going to take a few community leaders like yourself who are willing to stick around and answer questions, and offer comments, to other people's posts. If this board attracts and maintains dedicated users like yourself, eventually, it will reach a critical mass where it's more self sustaining...

More specifically, I'm aware of the opportunity and challenge... In the coming months, we will be updating the forum software and making a big marketing push to try and attract more forum users (giveaways - t-shirts, gift certificates, etc.). I hope that you will stick around and help make this forum more successful. I'm open to any suggestions you may have to achieve this.

As far as your question regarding salinity, I fish in Miami, FL and I'm not knowledgeable enough in that subject to even offer a response...
