Bob, Brian, and Isaac Henry joined me today. We hit the Gulf and were greeted with a nice 1 1-1/2 ft chop. Will the weather man ever get it right??? Picked around most of the morning at the fish, never finding a real good steady bite. We finally hit one school that had us all hooked up and put about nine fish in the boat real quick, then they played out. Our last stop is where we found some real good quality fish, but a real slow bite. Little 9yr old Isaac was wiped out, so we headed in at 12:30. Ended the day with a respectful 31 fish that we worked real hard for, all caught on plastic. Had a couple minnows on the boat today and all they caught were catfish (man I hate that stuff!!!!!!LOL). Capt. bill said The fish turned on after we left when a current line came through bringing in pretty green water. Thanks to my crew for sticking it out and to Capt Bill Lake for putting the trip together.
