Well folks today is the day we have all been waiting for! Capt Bill Lake and I hit the coast early this morning and was greeted with calm winds and pretty green water. Our first stop had the trout jumping in the boat on Saltwater holographic minnows and top-waters. Capt Bill threw top-waters early this morning and was rewarded with several fish in the three pound range. Once our bite slowed down we made another move to find what we were really looking for!! Trout one after another jumping in the ice chest. The trout could not resist our Holographic minnows and were literally SLAMMING them. We only caught a hand full of fish on the glow chubs. After catching our fifty fish we played catch and release for a while. Three reds and a sheepshead also made it to the box as lagniappe. NO LIVE bait as usual!!!! Thanks Capt Bill for the great company today.

P.S. Just to let everyone know, things in DULARGE are firing on all cylinders (trout and reds). We are in full swing with no effects of the oil spill. Give us a call now to book your next trip (not many dates left open). My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone being affected by this disaster.
