Lee King Benefit Buddy Tournament
June 12, 2010

The annual Lee King Benefit Buddy Tournament to benefit Niemann-Pick disease research is coming up on their tenth anniversary. FLW Outdoors will be in Eufaula, Alabama for the second year in a row to handle the weigh-in and other activities.

We are blessed with the support of the fishermen and the fishing industry. In 2009 we had 167 teams compete for the $10,000.00 purse for a tax deductable entry fee of $110.00 per boat. This includes the $1000.00 big fish pot.

The safety meeting is held at the Eufaula Community Center on Lake Drive Friday evening starting at 5:00 P.M. CST. We have lots of door prizes and opportunities for one to help with the research funds through raffles and silent auctions. There will be one of our own fishermen sharing their testimony during the evening and also during the weigh-in. We have witnessed Jesus work on 411 lives of adults and children over the first nine years.

Bring your family and participate in this fun weekend in beautiful Eufaula, Alabama and help us fund the SOAR Lab that is working on a cure for these terminal children. We are praying for 200 + teams for this tenth anniversary celebration. Contact us at 334 687 4000 during the day or 334 687 6266 evenings. Visit http://www.leekingbenefit.org and see the “Partners for a Cure” scroll. You can be a part of this group of people also. For the viewers at home, go to http://www.anglerschannel.com and see the entire weigh-in live on your computer starting at 2:00 P.M. CST.

Tournament will be held at Lake Point State Park from safe daylight ‘till 2:00 P.M. CST for the first flight to weigh – in. You can also register the morning of the event at the launch site at Lake Point State Park.
