No way to describe today except for phenomenal, good as it gets, off the charts, smoking HOT, ETC, ETC. What ever you want to call it as the bite doesn't get any better than today. My good customer Tim Barras got to experience yet another exceptional trip with me today, as we are on a hot streak continuing from our 2011 trips. With Tim were Brenson Fry, and Chester Turner. It was fish on from the first cast as I was reeling in a double as soon as the baits hit the water. One stop shop as I never moved the boat and we had the fish coming in 4-8 at a time on the double rigs. Avocado Matrix Shad, Avocado Cocodrie Cocahoes, and Mardi Gras Cocodrie Cocahoes did all the damage today. Once the smoke settled I stopped to count and we had 85 in the box. It didn't take much longer to finish off our limit, but the bite slowed and the fish settled to the bottom. We had to let our baits drift along the bottom until the fish picked them up. We left the fish stacked up and biting right at 8:10am to look for red-fish. The reds were a little more elusive as they were very finicky. We added 5 reds to the box and called it a day right after 11:00. Every red fish fell victim to the Texas Tackle Factory killer Flats minnows (colors to be seen when video comes out). What a magnificent day is all I can say, good times and a great crew busting up the fish. Thanks again guys, and I'm already looking forward to the upcoming trip.

No problems with the gnats as the SwampSwatter continues to keep them away. Man, I'm so amazed how great this stuff works.
