We had two boats running today, On the big Bluewave was Tim Barras, Byron Squyres, and Adam Angelle. Capt Chris Venable ran the second boat with Dennis Guidry and his long time fishing buddy Mike. North wind this morning was blowing harder than we expected, but we still found pretty green water at all locations that we fished. The bite was slower today than the past couple days but all the trout were fat. With the change in conditions my customers wanted to put some insurance in the boat, so we put a few minnows in the live well. We may have caught 10 fish on minnows while all other fish fell victim to double rigged Avocado Matrix Shad, Avocado Cocodrie Cocahoes, and Blue Tiger highlife Swimmers. Slow slow retrieve with no twitch is what the fish wanted. Todays fish averaged 16-19 inch's. Big thanks to Capt Chris for running the second boat, Dennis and Mike had a blast putting another nice box together. Also I want to thank all the customers for your continued business, We sure do appreciate everything you do.
